GFNS3 series energy-efficient square counter flow FRP cooling tower with concrete frame, designed by the Scivic Engineering Corporation (SCVIC) and Tsinghua University, has 9 specifications, with cooling capacity of a single tower ranging from 800 to 4000m3/h. It is characterized in good thermal performance, low electricity consumption, low noise, and high stability, as well as beautiful shape, low cost and short construction and installation period. It is widely used in enterprises that need large cooling capacity system such as oil, chemical industries, metallurgy, power generation, and so on.

Based on the advanced experience of similar products from domestic and abroad companies, and precious suggestions on the GFNS series cooling tower from users and design parties like petrifaction, electricity, metallurgy, etc., we have produced the present GFNS3 series cooling tower, which is titled as patented product with the application of three national patents from SCIVIC as follows:

1. Energy-efficient FRP cooling tower (Patent No.: 88215994.1), equipped with variable torque, pole and speed-adjustable motor, realizes its ability to save 40-52% of annual electricity consumption on the premise of assuring its thermal performance. This is a leading level in domestic and abroad.

2. Counter flow cooling tower with cantilever continuous beam on many supports and reinforced concrete main frame (Patent No.: 93201355.4), is characterized in external post position. It is 1-2.5m closer to the inside than usual posts to make the air flow directly go into the fill, which on one hand reduces the vortex near the air inlet beam and the height of the tower by 0.5 to 0.9m, on the other hand increases the tower’s cooling efficiency by evenly distributing the air. In cold regions, this also helps prevent damages from freezing and thawing in the reinforced concrete beams and posts.

3. Square counter flow cooling tower dedicated oblique trapezoid fill (Patent No.: 91216967.2). Oblique trapezoid waves form a fill sheet with bond joints. It is more stable and more serviceable. The height of the wave is 23mm. Space between them is 30mm which is made by the joints. This structure reduces the air resistance, and improves the thermal performance of the fill because it increases the height of the fill from 1.0m to 1.5m.
